The aim of the eSilver Tour project is to develop Digital Marketing competences in seniors organizations staff and tourism professionals to answer the real tourism needs of senior people, by addressing the psychosocial and physical needs of older travelers and their expectations, as to identify and overcome the well-embedded stereotypes about older people.
The eSilver Tour kick-off meting took place online, where partners presented their organizations expertise and more defined roadmap of the project was set:
- O1: Professional Profile of the eSilver Tourism Expert: analysis of Silver Tourism, Competencies for Active Ageing, and Digital Marketing management and strategies for seniors market.
- O2: Producing eSilver Tour B-Learning Content: developing a learning package and contents for the innovative eSilver Tour blended Course that will offer Digital Marketing for Silver Tourism and Active Ageing.
- O3: eSilver Tour Platform: producing a high-quality learning tool by incorporating and integrating the learning content within the platform. On-site trainings will be performed with professionals in order to evaluate its efficiency and applicability to the target group’s needs.
In this meeting partners discussed about the effective project development, both from an organizational-functional point of view and from both intellectual, dissemination and quality objectives.
